Édité par Square Enix et développé par Crystal Dynamics (Pandemonium,Soul Reaver, Tomb Raider Légend…) est un jeu d’action-aventure sur PC. On y incarne Lara Croft, âgée de 21 ans, qui suite à un naufrage devra survivre sur une ile mystérieuse. Désacralisant l’image de l’héroïne invulnérable et indestructible, pour laisser la place à une Lara Croft bien plus vulnérable et authentique. Sorte de Bruce Willis au féminin, la pauvre Lara devra se nourrir et chasser tout en prenant garde aux menaces qui planent autour d’elle. On n’en sait peu encore sur le gameplay, mais le moins qu’on puisse dire c’est que « la mise en scène est très impressionnante ». D’autres informations devraient suivre dans les jours à venir à l’E3.
La sortie de cette nouvelle aventure de la belle Lara est prévue pour le 5 mars 2013 sur Xbox360, PS3, PC et peut être Wii U.
